PUNK YOU.
So I just bought Rock Against Bush, Vol. 1. It's a mostly punk compliation from Fat Wreck Chords. Quite a bargain, as punk complations typically are. Costs $6, plus $2 for shipping. You get the CD, with lots of new songs specifically about Bush. For the $8, you get 26 songs, most of which are new, or very rare, a DVD featuring an abbreviated version of "Uncovered: the Whole Truth About the Iraq War," plus videos and stuff, a handful of bumper stickers, and a Fat Wreck Chords comic/catalog. Apparently the proceeds will go to anti-Bush advertising, which means it's the most value-packed $8 campaign contribution you'll ever make.
Man, Epoxies kick ass.
Also on the CD is a collaboration between Less Than Jake and Billy Bragg, and one by one of my favorites, Social Distortion.
