SPONGEBOB GAYPANTS..
I remember when it took something pretty shocking to get people worked up. Like rappers creating songs titled Cop Killer. Stuff like that. Now Focus on the Family, that ever-vigilant and wise group of INSANE FASCIST CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTALISTS, is shining the spotlight of high morality on Spongebob Squarepants. That's right. Spongebob. You know why? Because Spongebob, who, just for the record, is a cartoon character, occasionally holds hands with other male cartoon characters on the show. Thus, he is "pro-gay propaganda." Personally, I'm concerned for the welfare and morality of the children in this country.
Hint: It ain't because of Spongebob.

Comments:
I like holding hands, even with dudes. I wish it were more socially acceptable. I put it at the same level of comfort as shaking hands. I would prefer holding hands 20x more than hugging, (and 21x more than the movie "Contact.")
I also wouldn't mind if our culture could embrace that cheek-kiss thing when people greet. I love that eastern european double cheek kiss thing. We need more of that.
(Dang! Now I have to start liking SpongeBob for the principle of the matter...)
