LOTS OF STUFF

Well. Badness. My grandma passed away on Sunday. It's tough on all of us - her kids, grandkids, and especially my grandpa. I don't know what he will do without her. He has a hard time keeping his medication straight, and shouldn't really be driving more than a few blocks or so. We're all glad that she isn't suffering anymore. But it's tough to lose one as cool as she was. I think I've only cried 3 times since I was about 12 or so. I just don't do it. Last night, I cried harder, and for longer, than I have in over 15 years. It sucks, alot. But, I know that my Grandma wouldn't want us to be sad. Life is poopy sometimes, but I try to think about how lucky I was to have known my grandma as well as I did. I feel better about things today - happy that she went so peacefully, etc.

Still, it's a good thing I don't believe in God, because I would want to kick his ass right now, and that's probably worse than not believing in him.

Different stuff: we closed on our house today. It went fine. We took some stuff to our new place, cleaned some stuff up, played a game of pool, and even christened the joint with sips from a fairly swanky bottle of anejo tequila.

Sucks, but yes, be thankful. I never really knew any of my grandparents. Cliche, but remember the good times.
