Peruvian Nights and Jamaican Days

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

OK. Hi there. My name is Mark. Miss me?

Well. OK. So. It's been well over a month since I last blogged. Anything happen since then. Nope.

I started to type a whole bunch of stuff explaining why I hadn't typed anything, then realized that was lame, and would make for more dull reading than no post at all, so I axed it.

Those of you who were paying attention will notice that my "Currently Reading" heading has stayed the same (Catch-22), whereas my "Last Read," shifted from God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater to One Man's Wilderness. Yes, I got distracted, and set Heller aside. I think I like the book fine, but it's a slow read, especially at 1-2 hours per week. I'm trying to figure out why I was so much more productive (reading, writing, beermaking, woodworking, exercising, arting, thesising, as well as doing my share of the housework) when I was in grad school and felt like I worked on my thesis constantly than now, when I'm working ~45 hours/week, hardly exercising, and basically doing squat for housework. I guess homeowner projects suck alot of time, and energy.

Anyways, I'm still alive. I wish I had something to blog about, but I don't.
